Our ‘No Force First’ initiative has won the coveted Nursing Times Awards for Improving Patient Safety.
This is yet another fantastic piece of recognition for our dedicated ward teams, who are continually working towards a restraint free future on our in-patient units. The judges were particularly impressed with how our staff are seeking improvement collaboratively, through promoting a positive shift in culture, rather than the more traditional use of ‘top-down’ directives.
