The Centre for Perfect Care were delighted with the announcement this week that our restrictive intervention reduction programme, No Force First, has been nominated in the ‘Mental Health’ category at the 2017 Patient Safety Awards.
A big thank you to our incredibly committed ward teams who are continually exploring new, less restrictive ways to support people in distress. It was also fantastic to hear that Mersey Care were also nominated in the ‘Changing Culture’ category for our innovative HOPE(S) model of care in the High Secure Division, which is successfully reducing periods of long term segregation in that service.
